    WHAT IS BHASMA?

    Bhasmas are ashes obtained from metal and minerals (dhatu and khanija dravya )

    PREPARATION

    The process of Bhasmikaran is used to transform Dhatu and Khanij into Bhasma.The metals and minerals obtained from ore has to undergo Sanskar like Shodhan, Maran, Amrutikaran etc. This makes them easily assimilable in the body.The process is long, but meticulous observation and "in process standardization" makes it sure that the final product i.e. the Bhasma is properly formed and consistent.

    STANDARDISATION

    Standardisation should be gone through this modern parameters like TLC Analysis, Loss on Drying, Acid Insoluble Ash, Loss on Ignition etc

    DOSE

    30 mg to 125 mg

    TIMING

    Twice or thrice in a day or as directed by the physician.

    DIRECTION

    According to the Disease condition ( before meal or after meal )

    ANUPANA / TAKE WITH / ADJUVANT

    Honey, Ghee, milk or as per disease condition

    DURATION

    As directed by the physician.
